Activities Director; Certified Recreation Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a Memory Support Program Director to lead our Dementia Friendly Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation Center.

• Oversee staff, develop programs, and manage daily operations for residents and team members.
• Plan and evaluate engaging activities that meet patients' recreational, physical, and social needs, ensuring compliance with laws and standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, chart progress, manage budgets, ensure safety, and foster positive team relationships.

• Prior experience as a Memory Support Director, strong leadership skills, specialized training, and dementia care certification.
• Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or related field, active licensure, and experience with geriatrics preferred.
• Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism, good judgment, and excellent communication skills.
