Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education Required- Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Actively working towards independent licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Driving is not a requirement.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices to determine appropriate level of care.
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care.
- Ability and interest to learn and implement evidence-based models of treatment for opioid addiction.
- A minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health or addiction is preferred.
- Clinical expertise specific to adults with substance use conditions and co-occurring severe and persistent mental illness with an ability to engage clients effectively and work with other professionals and organizations.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
