Position Summary
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiation detection and CT imaging equipment. The role requires delivering safe, high-quality exams to patients of all ages, completing necessary documentation, and ensuring timely image submission for radiologist review. Additional duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT diagnostic procedures using appropriate imaging protocols
- Produce high-quality images safely and efficiently
- Prepare and position patients for examinations
- Complete all exam documentation and send studies to radiologists
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
- ARRT (R) required, plus documentation of CT training and experience
- Must obtain CT Registry (ARRT-CT) within 1 year of hire
- BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- 1–3 years of experience preferred
