- Greets clients.
- Performs check‑in and check‑out with clients, including verifying insurance eligibility, entering information on lapsed and new insurance, collecting co‑pays and balances due, providing receipts, submitting cash sheets, updating client demographics, and notifying staff that the client is checked in.
- Schedules client appointments.
- Enters and makes changes to staff schedules.
- Completes administrative intake with clients, including providing intake packets and collecting completed forms.
- Complies with established division and program policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Attends variety of meetings, conferences, and trainings as required or directed.
- Demonstrates use of quality improvement in daily operations.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
- Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Maintains confidentiality.

Position Qualifications License / Certification / EducationRequired:
- Grade C02:
Senior Receptionist – Minimum of a high school diploma/GED/HiSet. - Driving is not a requirement.
Preferred: Grade C02:
Senior Receptionist – Associate’s degree.
Required:
- Advanced computer skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to use office equipment, including copy machines, computers, printers, telephones and four‑drawer vertical filing cabinets.
- Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to pass a CORI background check.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of experience.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
Department‑specific competencies, including age‑specific competencies and their measurements, will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
