Occupational Therapist

Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital an Affiliate of Encompass Health, located at 189 May St, Worcester MA 01602, is seeking an Occupational Therapist - Per Diem (Pool).

The hourly rate for this position is $50 / Hour, with a weekend rate of $55 / Hour. The base pay range for this role is $39.00/hr - $65.00/hr, although actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

The Occupational Therapist provides therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, professional and federal regulations and guidelines. This position requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental contacts, as well as competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.

• Evaluates patients and develops care per regulations and professional standards.
• Administers skilled occupational therapy treatment and monitors patient response.
• Tracks and documents occupational therapy treatment, patient performance, progress, and response to care.
• Plans for patient discharge.

• Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
