Under general supervision of the Director or Diagnostic Imaging, the CT Tech is responsible for scanning and producing a variety of computerized tomography examinations for physician interpretation and diagnosis of injury and/or disease for all patient ages. The CT Tech assists the Radiologist with all diagnostic and interventional procedures, delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines set forth by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
The CT Tech performs related clerical and service duties and assists with other departments as needed.
All responsibilities are essential job functions.
Position Qualifications- ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
- RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts is required.
- CT modality requires a Sub‑specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
- BLS certification is required.
- Maintaining all area specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation is required.
