• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (06:15 - 18:45)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: 1 night/week and every 6th weekend (cardiac and vascular cases only)
• Flu Vaccine:
  Required (no exemptions)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,580 - $2,650

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required before start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Scrub nurse experience for cardiac and vascular cases
• Clinical experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, and Transplant service lines
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems
• Successful completion of facility orientation and required modules
• Pass/fail Telemetry exam during orientation (passing score: 80%)

• Assist in complex cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries
• Perform scrub duties for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation for cardiac and vascular cases
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety protocols
• Administer blood products and manage wound care
• Ensure proper specimen handling and labeling
• Follow universal protocol (time out) procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient care
