Event Manager / Planner, Customer Service Rep
Hello future Volunteers. Mechanics Hall is seeking individuals who want to help us make every event memorable. We have a reputation for excellent service, and we are looking for volunteers who will help maintain that reputation. If you enjoy making guests feel special and appreciate the rich history of our building, Mechanics Hall may be the perfect fit for you.
These front-line positions have a significant role in representing Mechanics Hall to the general public and shaping the public's perception of the quality of events and services at the Hall. As such, we must provide outstanding customer service to event patrons. Volunteers must be well-versed in greeting patrons, making them feel welcome, and may be asked to direct patrons to their seats, hand out programs or resolve any seating issues that arise.
Volunteers must assist guests in case of an emergency evacuation and often have to stand for long periods of time, upwards of 2 - 3 hours.
All of our staff and volunteers are required to submit a CORI check. We will then schedule an interview and get you onboarded.
If you would like to find out more about these enjoyable and rewarding opportunities, you can email the Volunteer Program Manager, Valerie Roy, at vroy - we look forward to meeting you. Also, feel free to sign up and learn more about our volunteer team on the link below We would love for you to join us today and become a valued member of the Mechanics Hall Volunteer Team family.
