Bancroft School seeks an Upper School English teacher for a long-term substitute beginning in late April until the first week in June. Developing students’ skills as critical thinkers, analytical and creative writers, positive contributors, and collaborators is central to this role.
Essential Responsibilities- Teach four sections of 9th-grade English
- Consistent and regular communication with students, parents, and advisors
- Bachelor’s degree in English or Education
- Three to five years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience in and enthusiasm for implementing inquiry-based learning
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction
- A commitment to teaching the writing process
- Experience with online collaborative learning software

Compensation& Benefits
Bancroft School offers a competitive salary for this position of $175 per day. Final salary details will be provided upon an employment offer.
