Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher specializing in birth to 2-year-old students. This full-time contract position involves a 37.5-hour workweek spread over five days, focusing on a caseload of approximately 12 young learners who require specialized support. The role is located in Burnsville, MN, offering a chance to impact early childhood development in a supportive educational setting.
KeyQualifications
- ECSE (SPED) Teacher certification or credentials as required.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers with special education needs.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to young children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to children aged birth to 2 years.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and other educators to ensure comprehensive development plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and district policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to early development.
