Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Current and valid medical license to practice in Massachusetts
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological care, including emergency coverage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and make rapid clinical decisions

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with NICU management
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as PBAR or Cerner
• Experience as First Assist in obstetric procedures
• Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine practices
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Minimum 2 years of hospitalist or OB/GYN clinical experience
• Prior locum tenens experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work 12 or 24-hour shifts, including nights and weekends (CNM coverage)
• Commitment to patient safety and excellent bedside manner
• Ability to travel to the hospital location and flexibility to cover various shifts
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP preferred
• Willingness to participate in hospital training and compliance programs
