The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, UMassChan Medical school, is recruiting a 1.0 FTE physician, preferably board‑certified or eligible, or with significant experience in that specialty, to join a talented, harmonious interdisciplinary team of adolescent medicine nurse practitioners and physicians (two of whom are adolescent medicine board‑certified), including a Pediatric specialist, a gender clinic, and a global health researcher.
This position includes adolescent/young adult primary and subspecialty care for eating disorders, gender‑affirming care, adolescent gynecology, and youth in juvenile justice. Outstanding Pediatric, Med‑Peds, Pedi Psych residents, and UMass Chan medical students rotate through our services.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Adolescent Medicine, or significant experience in the specialty.
- Medical licensure in the state of Massachusetts required prior to starting employment.
- Previous experience in adolescent/young adult primary and subspecialty care preferred.
Level of faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience and academic accomplishment. Salary is competitive and the benefits package is generous.
