The Urgent Care Physician will work with a multidisciplinary team, providing high‑quality patient care under the PCMH model across a broad range of conditions and age groups.

• Provide medical care to patients with acute medical problems or acute exacerbations of chronic illnesses.
• Examine patients, formulate diagnostic plans, order diagnostic testing, interpret findings, and implement treatment plans.
• Provide acute care for patients across the lifespan, including infants and pregnant patients.
• Determine need for consultation and assist with care provided by specialists; participate in procedures as trained.
• Prescribe and assess effectiveness of pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens appropriate for patients’ medical conditions.
• Promote continuity of care with the primary care team and facilitate appropriate follow‑up.
• Meet the Health Center’s annual productivity goal.
• Maintain and update Electronic Health Records in a systematic format; complete documentation within 48 hours.
• Participate in after‑hours and weekend calls on a rotating basis per schedule assigned by the Medical Director.
• Work weekday evening hours and Saturday morning hours on a rotating basis.

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med/Peds within one year of residency completion.
• Completion of a Family Medicine, Med/Peds, or Emergency Medicine residency program.
• Fluent in urgent‑care procedural skills including stitching and suturing, joint injections, EKG interpretation, skin procedures, and reproductive‑health procedures.

• $210,000–$230,000 per year.
