We are seeking an experienced Urology Physician to fill an urgent 13‑week assignment in Worcester, MA. Compensation ranges from $2600 to $3100 per day.

Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues.
  • Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients.
  • Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post‑care management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Skills
  • Strong expertise in performing a range of both surgical and non‑surgical urological procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex urological conditions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams.
Minimum Education Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency training program in urology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required.
Certifications
  • Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.
Experience
  • While specific requirements may vary, most locum urology positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting.
