Polar Park Ambassador

Overview

The Worcester Red Sox are continuing to build a team of Polar Park Ambassadors in 2026, who will lead the ballpark’s Tour Program and who will render extraordinary customer service and community participation. The Woo Sox are seeking kind, helpful, knowledgeable, compassionate, energetic, and proactive individuals who reflect Worcester and represent the Woo Sox organization. Empowered to trust your instincts to solve problems and enhance fans’ happiness, the Ambassadors are an integral part of the fan experience and of the organization.

• Providing exceptional, hospitable service to ballpark guests, including answering questions, proactively enhancing the fan experience, and going the extra mile to create warm and wonderful moments and memories
• Leading ballpark guests on Polar Park Tours year-round, on both game days and non-game days
• Assisting fans in Polar Park’s specialty and hospitality areas
• Assisting with pregame, in-game, and postgame ceremonies and events
• Assisting with the pregame and postgame distribution and cleanup of promotional materials
• Understanding Polar Park operational policies to ensure and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests
• Using knowledge of Polar Park and Worcester history, engage fans to deliver a holistic experience and exceptional customer service
• Physically assisting, with compassion, infirm or disabled fans, including during emergency evacuations
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to speak loudly, clearly, and comfortably to individuals and large groups
• Outstanding positive attitude
• Desire to be a team player and help those in need
• Ability to be patient, kind, and compassionate to those needing assistance
• Ability to memorize and internalize facts about Worcester, Polar Park, and the Red Sox for recitation during Polar Park Tours
• Demonstrate the stamina to maintain a positive, proactive attitude in variable weather conditions and potentially long games

• Bilingual, multilingual, and/or fluent in ASL
• Background in Occupational Therapy or Special Education Certified
