Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Overview

KBW Financial has partnered with a reputable organization based out of Worcester County MA that is actively looking to add an Accountant to their growing team! The Accountant will report to the Senior Accounting Manager, and assist with the month end close, sales and use tax, audit, and financial analysis.

• Support the monthly accounting cycle, including month-end close activities, and provide explanations for variances related to divisional operations
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Participate in the annual audit process, assisting with preparation and documentation as needed
• Manage cost accounting tasks such as analyzing labor efficiency and reviewing overall company overhead expenditures
• Assist with Sales and Use Tax compliance, including timely filing and documentation
• Perform daily cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and follow up to ensure inventory accuracy
• Contribute to monthly financial performance reviews by performing variance analysis on key expense accounts
