About the Accountant position:
- Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee grant accounting and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and support audits
Qualifications of the Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a nonprofit setting is required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund/grant accounting principles
- proficiency with Excel and ERP systems
