Production Intern - Stamping

• Operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment. Perform set ups on machines when training allows.
• Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process/machine.
• Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter.
• Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to determine quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally, to set up a machine for others to operate.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
