Maintenance Tech

Job Description Summary

* Three to five years' experience in skilled or semi-skilled maintenance required

* Electrical knowledge / training and electrical machine repair preferred

* Familiarity with CNC machinery (Okuma, Fanuc, Siemens) is preferred

Job Description

* Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as equipment installation

* Duties would include, but not limited to, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic repair, building and machinery maintenance and fabrication

* Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude is required

* Must be dependable and safety oriented

* Knows and understands Quality System requirements

* Must be flexible in working hours including overtime, holidays, and different shifts as required

Required Skills and Education

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.

* Basic skills:

critical thinking, reading comprehension, electrical print reading, blue print reading, communication

* Good interpersonal skills

* Complex problem solving skills: problem identification, information gathering, information organizing, idea generation, idea evaluation

* Technical skills: programming, troubleshooting, operation monitoring, testing

* Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in machinery maintenance

* Formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience

* Strong computer skills necessary

* Must be shift flexible

* Ability to work well with others

* Good attendance

* Negative pre-employment and random drug test
