This isn’t your typical HR role. You’ll be the architect behind TVN’s organizational strategy, guiding everything from succession planning and talent development to change management and performance. You’ll help leaders grow, teams thrive, and the organization adapt and excel; always keeping TVN’s commitment to its mission, vision, and values at the heart of every decision.
You’ll also lead with vision and accountability, overseeing TVN’s self-insured health benefits program. Here, your expertise in governance, compliance, and financial stewardship will ensure our benefits not only support our people but also strengthen the foundation of our organization.
As a strategic partner to the executive team, you’ll bring HR’s voice to the table, influencing decisions at the highest levels. Reporting to the EVP of Administrative Operations, you’ll lead a talented team including the VP of HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Benefits Supervisors, and Credentialing Coordinator; empowering them to do their best work.
Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership for all HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, development, succession planning, retention, training, compensation, and benefits. Lead the HR team and partner with company leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and drive a positive, inclusive culture rooted in TVN’s values.
- Oversee and continuously improve employee communications and branding to strengthen alignment with the company’s vision and culture. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational and management issues, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Direct the management, compliance, and performance of TVN’s self-insured health benefits program, including plan design, vendor relationships, cost control, data analysis, and regulatory adherence. Collaborate with Finance and executive leadership on forecasting, reporting, and aligning benefits strategy with financial objectives.
- Lead leadership development programs, including the TVN Leadership Academy and targeted training initiatives, to support succession planning and organizational growth. Develop and implement competitive, cost-effective compensation and retention plans to meet business needs.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace, ensuring TVN remains an equal opportunity employer with an open and supportive environment. Oversee HR-related risk management and serve as the organization’s EEO Officer.
- Master’s Degree in related field highly preferred
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP certification required.
- Minimum of ten years broad-based Human Resources experience including staffing/recruiting, compensation, and benefits, statistical analysis, organizational development including job evaluation and feedback; employee relations; change management models, and knowledge of all HR related state and federal regulations.
- Experience administering and managing self-funded insurance plans is required.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance. Ability to travel amongst the different Village Network sites is necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve; excellent time management and analytical skills.
