Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic in Wooster, OH!
Are you an experienced Diagnostic Radiologist seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity to make a meaningful impact through advanced imaging care? We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality diagnostic services in Wooster, OH, starting December 31, 2025.
This role offers a chance to utilize your expertise in a dynamic environment, supporting critical patient needs with state-of-the-art imaging modalities.
Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with active radiology certification
- Proven experience with onsite radiologic procedures including XR, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, US, and Nuclear Medicine
- Proficiency in subspecialty case management such as ER, Neuro, Peds, Mammography, and Interventional Radiology procedures
- Ability to perform biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and joint injections
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
Skills:
- Experience in thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage, or similar procedures
- Familiarity with hospital-based workflows and radiology reporting systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency radiology experience
- Prior locum or temp radiology practice experience preferred
- Active medical license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Willingness to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Ability to handle daily case volume expectations of approximately 90-100 studies, with an average of 60-70 WRVUs per shift
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements, including malpractice coverage
