Akron Children's Hospital invites you to consider a pediatric opportunity in northeast Ohio. ACP provides pediatric primary care for babies, children, and teens across multiple communities through our 40+ pediatric offices. We are seeking a full-time BE/BC pediatrician to join our newly acquired Ontario practice as they continue to grow. The Wooster office currently has 4 experienced physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.

This is an outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers. Calls reach the physician only after triage by our after-hours nurse line which handles more than 90% of calls.

This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies, while retaining the local culture of each practice. Physicians use EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care and helps build better relationships between patients and their clinical care teams. PCMHs aim to improve quality, patient experience, staff satisfaction, and may reduce health care costs.
