Counter Sales - Woonsocket RI

Overview

North East Electrical is looking for a full time Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Woonsocket, RI.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Salary Range: $25 per hour plus commission

• Provide retail and professional customers with a high level of customer service and maintain the appearance of the store in a clean and organized manner.
• Take orders over the phone, in person, and via our Digital Tools.
• Enter stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
• Provide customers with information and demonstrations of our online ordering solution for fast and easy ordering through our website.
• Support the Branch Manager in transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
• Display and stock material in the counter and showroom; participate in promotions as they occur.
• Perform other duties as required or directed by Manager.

• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and website navigation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; electrical or construction experience is helpful.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Dependable and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and PIT Equipment.
