Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced

Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float RN

to support our clinical team. This role requires floating between Med/Surg Telemetry and the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing high-acuity cardiac patients.
Qualifications & Experience
Recent

Experience:

2+ years of recent clinical nursing experience.
Cardiac Expertise:

2+ years specifically in cardiac care, including familiarity with Cardiac Catheterization patients and PCU-level acuity.
Systems Proficiency:

Previous experience with

EPIC EMR

is mandatory.
Licensure:

Active Rhode Island or Compact state RN license.
Shift Requirements
Night

Shift:

18:45 – 07:15.
Weekends:

Every other weekend required. For night shift, the weekend is defined as Friday and Saturday nights.
Mandatory Certifications
BLS & ACLS:

Current certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross.

Note:

Candidates must have a history of requiring these certifications in prior positions; obtaining them solely for compliance is not acceptable.
