As
** Senior Manager of Category Promotion and Coupon Strategy**, you will lead promotional strategy and execution for divisional merchandising teams. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration across multiple business units to design and implement promotional programs that drive consumer engagement and profitable growth.

You will partner closely with Category Managers, Pricing and Promotion Optimization teams, and vendors to deliver impactful promotional strategies that elevate the customer experience and increase store traffic.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Strategic Planning (25%)
*** Develop and implement promotional strategies aligned with divisional merchandising goals.
* Build category-level promotional plans and coupon offer pools to drive engagement and incremental sales.
* Use data-driven insights to evaluate and approve promotional offers based on projected impact (sales lift, margin improvement, redemption rates).
* Establish clear timelines, accountabilities, and project management discipline across teams.
* Influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy and execution.
** Deliver Results (40%)
*** Monitor performance against category KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
* Optimize promotional deals, depth, and frequency to achieve forecasted outcomes.
* Evaluate coupon programs and refine strategies based on performance metrics.
* Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to ensure seamless execution.
** Drive Improvement & Innovation (10%)
*** Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity through new technologies and processes.
* Act as a change agent, embracing organizational improvement initiatives.
* Coach and empower teams to simplify execution for store and field teams.
** Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration (25%)
*** Collaborate with Category Managers and vendors on promotional and coupon strategies.
* Leverage analytics to influence decisions and optimize promotional impact.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
* Ensure compliance with ethical standards and best practices.
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Master’s preferred).
* 7+ years of experience in retail merchandising and/or marketing programs.
* Proven ability to influence without authority and lead under pressure.
* Strong collaboration skills across diverse business functions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to travel up to 20%.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** 10+ years of experience in retail, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
* Demonstrated success managing large teams and multi-million-dollar business units.
* Expertise in data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
** Pay Range
** The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
