Talent Manager, Operations Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Compensation Manager to join our team supporting Aetna. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and administration of comprehensive compensation programs, including base salary structures, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, and salary surveys. You will also provide expertise and project management in specialized areas such as sales compensation, annual planning, job catalog ownership, and survey administration, while driving strategic initiatives and ensuring competitive, equitable pay practices across the organization.
Responsibilities- Manages the design and communication of compensation structures that reflect industry standards and competitive market practices to develop and retain talent.
- Leads and supports the annual compensation planning cycle(s) for a client area or for the enterprise in a project management capacity.
- Regularly reviews organizational charts, job descriptions and associated materials to provide best-in-class consulting to internal HR clients.
- Adapts compensation models and plans for clients, taking into account factors such as productivity, quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and specialty-specific considerations.
- Develops actionable insights to ensure pay fairness across different job roles and demographic groups, addressing any disparities that may exist to mitigate legal or reputational risks.
- Models, informs and recommends changes to or additions of incentive programs that motivate and reward staff while driving outcomes.
- Creates policies and programs that address shift differentials, overtime pay, and other compensation considerations specific to the organization’s scheduling and work patterns.
- Conducts routine market research and analysis to understand industry trends and benchmark the organization’s compensation programs against others.
- Aligns compensation and benefits strategies and communicates total rewards packages effectively to employees.
- 7+ years of compensation experience or a combination of experience in human resources/finance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Demonstrated customer service acumen.
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems.
- Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team efforts.
- Willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions.
- Ability to develop, read, analyze, and interpret complex documents or spreadsheets.
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.

Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range$82,940.00 - $
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
