Job DescriptionMedical Assistant (Part Time) – 16 hours per week
We are hiring an organized, motivated, courteous professional Medical Assistant to work in our Community Support Program providing support and care coordination to adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues. This position includes client contact to monitor vital signs, and behind-the-scenes prescription processing, data management and Prescriber/RN support. Must value working with a variety of professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
Must demonstrate proficiency in keyboarding and medical terminology with attention to detail for medication names. Please be reliable, punctual, and professional, with good personal boundaries.
Education/Licensing Requirements: MA certification is required! Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
