If you have a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents, then consider joining our multi‑disciplinary team of committed professionals in our Children's Behavioral Health Program. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative, and nimble in responding to crisis situations, and will maintain an anti‑oppression, non‑stigmatizing approach. Knowledge and understanding of various treatment approaches including trauma, developmental, and substance abuse related issues is highly preferable.

Experience working with children and families is required.

Requirements/Responsibilities
  • Services will be provided in the community and office
  • Provide individual and family counseling utilizing a variety of modalities in addressing a diverse population, including complex trauma, social determinants of health,underrepresentedpopulations,and social challenges.
  • Provide crisis assessments, risk management, and safety planning.
  • Proven ability to assess and intervene with clients and familiesin crisis
  • Comfort and familiarity working within larger systems (e.g., with clients, families, hospitals and other providers, law enforcement and first responders, and with other community partners)
  • Demonstratedproficiencyin completing biopsychosocial assessments and crisis assessments.
Education/Licensing:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling,Psychologyora relatedhuman services discipline. Licenseeligibleor independently licensed.

    Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferredor the candidate will receive free, in‑house training to obtain this certification

    SUPERVISION FOR INDEPENT LICENSURE PROVIDED.
