CCBHC Mobile Crisis Bridge Clinician (Part time)
Community Care Alliance is looking for a part-time master's level clinician, QMHP certification preferred, to support a new crisis response program serving the surrounding community. The role involves working with an innovative team including the program director, law enforcement, case managers, peer specialists and community mental health workers. This community-based crisis triage program aims to rapidly respond to mental health and substance use crises, rapidly stabilize individuals, develop community connections, and reduce the need for emergency room intervention and inpatient admission.
Responsibilities- Provide rapid crisis triage and stabilization in the community.
- Collaborate with the program team and community partners to connect individuals with resources.
- Assist in reducing escalation and the need for emergency department or inpatient admission.
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field (MA) with experience in behavioral health.
- QMHP certification preferred; willing to train for Qualified Mental Health Professional license to complete emergency certifications.
- Excellent crisis intervention skills; able to perform emergency certifications when necessary.
- Minimum of one year of employment experience in community mental health, Crisis Stabilization Unit, or an inpatient psychiatric setting.
- Ability to diagnose using DSM-5 criteria.
- Valid driver’s license.
