Pricing Operations Senior Analyst — Overview

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Pay Range: $46,988 – $112,200 + bonus/incentives

Role Summary

The Pricing Operations Senior Analyst evaluates client guarantee performance, prepares financial reporting, and supports pricing strategy decisions. The role works cross-functionally with underwriting, finance, sales, audit, and legal teams to analyze contract performance and identify opportunities to reduce financial risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly data pulls and analyze performance for assigned clients.
  • Review utilization, drug mix, and financial results to identify risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, accounting, and operations teams to improve processes and address gaps.
  • Conduct lookback analysis comparing underwriting assumptions, contract language, and actual results.
  • Develop reporting packages and presentations for leadership.
  • Support audit requests with required reporting and documentation.
  • Provide recommendations to improve pricing strategy and business decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Networks, Sales/Account Management, Finance, Audit, and Legal.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of pricing, financial, or data analysis experience.
  • Experience building financial models and working with large datasets.
  • Experience working in database environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management).
  • Knowledge of healthcare, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Access, and Excel
    .
  • Master’s degree (preferred).

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Ability to draw insights and make strategic recommendations
