Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Location: Woonsocket, RI 02895
Pay Range: $44–$50/hour

We are seeking a part‑time Dental Hygienist to join a modern dental practice that prioritizes quality care and a concierge‑level patient experience. This role supports one‑hour recall appointments, strong documentation standards, and patient education. Hygienists also have opportunities for professional growth through a Hygiene Executive Committee that supports and leads the hygiene team.

• Monday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Wednesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Provide concierge‑level care with exceptional chairside manner while building trust with patients
• Enhance oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers
• Thoroughly document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints
• Take x‑rays and intraoral images to support treatment planning and monitor progress/changes
• Perform precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist
• Respond appropriately to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment and implement emergency measures when needed
• Provide clear instructions for at‑home care and ongoing oral health maintenance

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Rhode Island
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation
• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform assigned duties
