REC CENTER ATTENDANT - LIMITED PART-TIME
WOODSTOCK RECREATION DEPARTMENT

The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a limited part-time position with the Woodstock Recreation Department.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible to facilitate a safe and healthy short-term drop-in recreation environment that promotes safe, healthy activities and positive play options for children.

NOTE:
This is NOT a seasonal position:
Ideally candidates should demonstrate commitment to year-round employment on a set schedule, preferably for a minimum of 1-2 years.

Schedule:

• Mondays: 8:45 AM - 11:00 AM
• With the possibility of additional hours either on other days during the morning or afternoons.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 16 years of age and older.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED and DCFS Mandated Reporter Certifications upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous childcare or classroom experience.

Salary & Benefits:

The starting pay rate for this limited part-time, non-exempt/hourly position is $16.54. The position will work no more than 20 hours per week on average. There are no additional benefits with the exception of a free Recreation Center membership and Accrued Sick Leave - earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis.
