Execu Source is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) that is looking for an opportunity to work at the largest allergy practice in Georgia. This is a Contract to Hire position located in Woodstock, GA.
Schedules:
All locations closed 12p-1p
Woodstock, GA:
Monday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Duties:
- Assist the physician as instructed with patient care during office visits.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, such as skin testing, and pulmonary function testing.
- Administer immunotherapy injections and maintain extract and records of treatment.
- Treat emergency and priority patients, including the use of CPR, if necessary.
- Assist the physician with patients by telephone, including instructions to sick patients and prescription refills.
- Assist in management and treatment of reactions which occur secondary to immunotherapy.
- Maintain an aseptic environment appropriate for medical office.
- Educate patients on their physical condition, treatment plan, use of equipment and medication delivery devices, environmental controls, and any other issues which may affect the patient's care.
- 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Prefer one year of previous employment in a medical office/outpatient setting
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with clinic health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Competitive pay $26-28/hr (Based on experience)
