Overview
Our client is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Field Technician near the Woodstock, GA area. This is a direct-hire opportunity with approximately 25% travel for short repairs or installs, and the same responsibilities are performed in the company office when not travelling. ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Field Tech, you will perform tasks such as assembling industrial components, cutting lengths, fabricating, and reading blueprints to ensure accuracy and performance.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and installation
- High school diploma and/or trade experience
- Ability to adjust, assemble, repair, and finish mechanical tasks on equipment from blueprints
- Stable previous work history
- Low-voltage electrical, industrial food, or beverage experience is a plus
- Experience communicating effectively with clients, management, and team
