Overview

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate/Corporate Paralegal to join our team at our Woodstock, Georgia office. Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain critical dates for land acquisition contracts, schedule those dates in Microsoft Outlook/Teams and follow-up with acquisition teams to ensure dates are met and the Company’s obligations are satisfied
  • Prepare draft legal documents for attorney review and further modification, including purchase and sale agreements, amendments, terminations, summaries of purchase and sale agreements, and corporate documents
  • Update division Status Reports, as needed
  • Assist with Title & Survey, Corporate, Litigation, and Administrative support as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel
Education and Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Paralegal certification
Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a real estate paralegal position within a law firm/corporate in-house/title insurance company
  • Experience reviewing title and surveys and processing title for commercial real estate transactions
  • Experience with residential development preferred
Computer Proficiency
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Internet proficiency
Skills
  • Strong command of the English language, correct spelling, punctuation and usage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively compose business and legal correspondence
