The Visual Arts Education Manager will cultivate initiatives and programming to inspire the next generation and grow a culture of continued learning through the arts within our community.
What you will get to do hereThe Visual Arts Education Manager will lead visual arts education initiatives and oversee all aspects of visual arts classes, camps, studio operations, and related educational programming at Woodstock Arts. Reporting to the Education Director, this role collaborates frequently with the Visual Arts Department, as well as with other staff, teaching artists, and volunteers, to create a cohesive and inspiring learning environment.
The Visual Arts Education Manager will help shape a welcoming community of students of all ages, where creativity, curiosity, and skill-building are nurtured through thoughtful curriculum and meaningful experiences. By improving processes, strengthening programs, and supporting the launch of new initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic plan, the Visual Arts Education Manager will play a key role in expanding community impact and deepening lifelong engagement with the arts.

Arts Education Initiatives & Programming [35%]
- Work closely with staff to lead the development and execution of education initiatives to advance, engage, and grow the community’s culture and economy through arts education. Arts Education initiatives and programming include, but are not limited to, classes, camps, workshops, and exhibits in the Visual Arts, working with local artists as arts educators, as well as partnerships with schools and local organizations.
