Rhino USA is seeking a Product Manager, Core Categories to own and evolve our most critical product lines, including Cargo Management, Towing, Off-Road, Powersports, and Recovery. This role is designed for a Product Manager who does not just manage products on paper, but lives the categories, understands the end customer at a deep level, and can confidently define what a “good” product looks like in real-world use.
This individual contributor role serves as the internal voice of the customer and market for assigned categories. The Product Manager is expected to bring strong product judgment, hands-on category knowledge, and continuous ideation into the product development process while using Rhino USA’s Product Development Process (PDP) as a tool to drive disciplined execution from concept through launch and lifecycle management.
The Product Manager owns assigned categories end-to-end, from early market insight and idea generation through new product development, launch, and lifecycle management while working cross-functionally to turn great ideas into amazing products.

Key Responsibilities
- Own assigned core categories end-to-end, serving as the subject-matter owner and internal advocate for the end customer.
- Apply firsthand category knowledge and product judgment to define product requirements and CTQs, and assess product concepts, samples, and execution.
- Continuously ideate new product concepts and line extensions informed by customer needs, market trends, and competitive gaps.
- Drive new products through Rhino USA’s Product Development Process, ensuring alignment, accountability, and on-time delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to bring products to market.
- Review prototypes and production samples, providing clear go/no-go input based on fit-for-use, durability, and perceived value.
- Own category strategy, positioning, assortment decisions, and multi-year roadmaps.
- Manage product lifecycle decisions including enhancements, cost optimization, SKU rationalization, and end-of-life planning.
- Identify and support opportunities to grow revenue and margin through product, assortment, and pricing initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on experience with cargo management, towing, off-road, powersports, or vehicle recovery products, gained through professional or personal involvement in the category.
- 2–5 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Product Marketing, or a related role supporting physical or consumer products.
- Strong execution and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive cross-functional accountability.
- Ability to evaluate physical products using real-world, customer-driven criteria.
- Self-directed work style with strong ownership and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) preferred.
- Experience working within a structured product development or stage-gate process preferred.
