We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting firm in Woodstock, GA. This is a revenue-producing role requiring strong technical expertise, client management skills, and leadership experience in public accounting. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns including:
- 1120S (S-Corporations)
- 1065 (Partnerships)
- 1040 (Individual Returns)
- 990 (Nonprofit Organizations)
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Guide and mentor junior staff members
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning strategies
- Assist clients with IRS notices, audits, and tax resolution matters
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all returns
- Active CPA license (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
