Job Functions:
All duties and responsibilities below are in no particular order as may be defined as per safe and efficient operational process
Opening and closing rail cars as per company procedureOpening and closing ticketsPoint of contact for employees and customersScheduling loading and unloading times with customersOperating all railyard equipment including but not limited to: front end loader, rail car mover, skidsteer, portable offload conveyer, and pick up truck.Daily inspections of terminal offloading areaInspect all incoming tank cars to ensure safe offloadingHandling the hookup and offloading of rail carsEnsuring safety of all employeesConducting tool box meetingsAssist in the development and implementation of of JHA’s and SWP’sLight maintenance of the terminal tank carsConducting lead hand dutiesOperating mobile liquid transload equipmentOther duties as requiredJob Requirements:
Previous rail experience considered an assetSpecial course certified or certified power engineer course an assetSafety focused attitudeProblem solver with the ability to find resolutionsAbility to work independentlyEffective use of time managementPositive attitude and willingness to learnProven ability to work in a team environmentPrevious supervisory or lead hand experience
