Assistant Sanitation Supervisor

Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a full-time Sanitation Associate to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.

• Support the sanitation team in hitting daily cleanliness and safety targets
• Help lead pre-shift meetings and coordinate nightly schedules
• Liaise with QA and Production for smooth transitions between departments
• Monitor post- and pre-operational inspections
• Complete and verify sanitation documentation
• Provide minor repairs to sanitation equipment
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals and WHMIS compliance
• Provide supervisor coverage as needed
• Enforce GMPs, HACCP, and SQF food safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience in sanitation or food manufacturing
  
  WHMIS 2015 certification (or willingness to complete)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A flexible mindset and willingness to work overtime or adjust shifts as needed
• Comfortable working in cold, damp environments typical of food processing facilities

Position may require varying start times and extended working hours with occasional weekends to facilitate customer presentations and attendance and production trials and first runs.
