Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized school of Respiratory Therapy

• Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NPR certifications

• Proficient in adult intubation and arterial line insertion

• Ability to perform cardiac non-invasive testing, critical care and routine therapy, pulmonary function testing, and arterial punctures

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, nursing staff, physicians and patients

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

• Professional discretion and judgment relative to patient care

• Satisfactory attendance for internal candidates

• Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence

• Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check

Salary Range: $39.50- $54.88/hour
