TDMH Registered Nurse- Medical Surgical

Overview

Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Registered Nurse position for the Medical Surgical Department. The primary location for this position is:
Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.

The duration of this temporary contract would be approximately until April 2027, or sooner, as determined by RRHS.

• Registered Nurse with a current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum 1 year recent Medical/Surgical experience is preferred.
• Must possess current Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
• Well-developed patient assessment, intervention and evaluation skills.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs.
• Demonstrated ability to function productively in a very demanding environment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently.
• Demonstrated ability to function productively as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the usage of various programs such as Cerner, Power chart and Microsoft Office.
• Skilled with the interaction of patients and families to provide patient focused, goal oriented care.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality.
• Excellent attendance record and work ethics in previous positions.
• Proven experience working in a fast paced environment.
• Able to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills with a patient centered focus.
• Ability to fulfil full time commitment of 12 hour shifts.

• Salary per the ONA collective agreement ($40.24 per hour to $57.68 per hour).

Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include; weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts. Hours are subject to change based on operation needs of the hospital.

Salary: $40.24 - $57.68 per hour
