Class A CDL Driver

Role and Responsibilities

• Position drives a 53’ truck to make Local, Regional, and National pick-ups and deliveries of Company equipment.
• Fleet also includes 30' box trucks (Class
  
  B), 26', 16', and Sprinter Vans (non-CDL).
• Checks and/or assists in the loading/unloading of the trailer.
• Inspects vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip.
• Must maintain an E-log book and adhere to all DOT regulations.
• May require driving in adverse weather conditions.
• Position will require overnight stays and overtime.
• Also requires lifting cases weighing up to 100 pounds if they fall in trailer.
• Use forklift in warehouse.
• Support warehouse personnel with pulling of equipment, quality control, and restocking.

• MUST HAVE:
  Interstate (Class
  
  A) Commercial Driver’s License including cleared DMV report.
• Minimum of 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
• No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No convictions for a DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs within the last ten (10) years.
• Current Medical Card.
• MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE MANUAL TRANSMISSION - This is non-negotiable.
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to maintain DOT regulated Driver’s Hours-of-Service paperwork.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
