Position
Purpose:
The Night Supervisor ensures safety and security of clients and the facility, develops and implements the program and schedule for patients, and supervised the unit monitors or overnight staff.
Salary: $46,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Typical Schedule: Midnight - 8 AM

- Designate senior staff as lead when not on duty.
- Operate as Senior staff when on duty.
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility.
- Oversee the implementation of the patients schedule including intake and screening of new and existing patients.
- Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
- Facilitate new employee on-the-job training.
- Provide direction for overnight staff regarding job duties and responsibilities.
- Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met; attend mandatory in-service meetings and trainings.
- Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, document the content of such meetings, and provide feedback.
- Conduct headcount checks, nightly safety checks, and outside perimeter checks per contracting/licensing requirements.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques and respond and intervene during conflicts.
- The following educational requirements are acceptable for this classification including:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university and one year work experience with children; OR
- Associate’s Degree or 60 Credit hours from an accredited college/university and three years work experience with children.
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Criminal clearances (Specific state & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI) and background check.
- Valid driver's license from employee’s state of residence. Valid registered vehicle insurance.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
