Job Description

Print Machine Operator is available with immediate hiring for Woodridge, IL. Compensation includes a pay range of $24.11 to $26.33 per hour, weekly pay, and a shift differential of $1 per hour for night shifts. Night shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities
  • The primary responsibility is the safe setup and operation of all phases of the printing operation.
  • Includes installation/removal of printing plates, mandrels and related equipment, registration of print images, and achieving acceptable quality and rate for new print setups.
  • Perform minor repairs, process troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks as required.
  • Direct packers assigned to the operator’s lines, handle related paperwork, conduct quality inspections of product, provide break relief for other positions in the department, maintain general housekeeping of the work area and equipment, work safely, and perform any other duties assigned by department leaders and management.
Qualifications
  • Must have an outstanding work record. Position requires a HS Diploma or GED and 2+ years of printing experience or experience working on production equipment with machine adjustments.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and mechanical skills is required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally; ability to perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
  • Ability to work with others effectively as part of a team is essential.
