About the RoleNOW HIRING: IT Program Manager (Data Management/Data Science) CMS’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is hiring an IT Program Manager to help lead complex data management work supporting Medicare systems.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate CMS staff and contractors to solve complex data management issues across systems
- Consult with customers and support planning, design, and implementation of improved information systems
- Provide technical input on pilot initiatives and data-related applications, and advise leadership on recommendations
- Provide expert technical advice on major problem areas in your specialization
- 1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS-12, including:
- Data acquisition/storage/retrieval systems work
- Leading cross-functional teams on data management projects (plans, requirements, assigning work, monitoring progress)
- Advising on the development/modernization of data science technologies
- IT competencies:
Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
