Quotation Engineer
Basic Salary: $3,500 – $6,000
Work Location:
Woodlands
Benefits:
Annual Leave, Performance Bonus
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 12.30pm (1 Saturday off per month)
Job Responsibilities- Review customer RFQs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations based on material, labour, and process requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to confirm feasibility and costing
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals for customers
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain material and service pricing
- Provide technical support to the sales team during quotation preparation
- Follow up on submitted quotations and support order conversion
- Maintain quotation records and pricing history
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities where applicable
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in quotation, costing, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Solid Works is an advantage
- Strong analytical, costing, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
