• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs and resolve concerns
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve experiences
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features (including Wallet) and enrollment/setup for services like Order Pick-Up and Drive Up
• Assist with returns following policy and escalate to Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
• Maintain safety, ethical conduct, and compliance; report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders and returns with compliance to laws (e.g., alcohol if applicable)
• Other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and related duties
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, with lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Exposure to varying temperatures and conditions for roles such as Drive-Up or carryout
