Overview

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support PreK and Kindergarten students in a K-12 school setting in Woodland, CA. This contract position runs from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek. The caseload will include approximately 25-35 students, providing speech-language services tailored to early childhood developmental needs.

Location and Schedule

Onsite position based in Woodland, CA. School calendar year duration with typical school hours.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for young children
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support communication goals
  • Document student progress and prepare reports for educational teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations
Key Qualifications
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure is required
  • Experience working with PreK and Kindergarten age groups preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based speech-language services and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators and families
