Civil law paralegal

This is a full-time, on-site Civil Law Paralegal role located in Woodland Park, NJ. The Civil Law Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and assisting with client communications. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate case files, organizing documentation, managing deadlines, and ensuring the efficient progression of legal cases. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to meet the needs of both clients and the legal team.

• Knowledge and background in Civil Law, with an understanding of related legal procedures
• Skills in preparing and reviewing legal documents
• Strong research and analytical abilities to support case preparation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Clio is a plus
• Prior experience in a civil law practice is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
